Collect Memories, Not Things This Holiday Season

I have decided that my kids have enough.  They have amassed so many things in their few short years, in fact, that the appeal of a new toy or gadget is fading.  That's why I've chosen to focus on making memories, not collecting things.  This can mean camping in the living room, having a game night, taking a last minute trip to the lake, or spending the day in pajamas.  On a bigger scale, I am passionate about prioritizing family vacations.

I am so blessed to have grown up with a wonderful family who emphasized memory making experiences!  I remember every family vacation and the bonding that happened when we got away from "normal life" and focused on each other.  We were freed up to be goofy, have fun, and find out who our family members really were without the tediousness that can happen when schedules, work, school, sports, and chores are involved.

I feel so strongly about this that I am doing away with presents in 2018.  Mimi isn't on board, but I'm not a miracle worker!  No birthday, Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, Columbus Day, or Arbor Day presents.  We are, instead, headed to Disney World where we will receive the gift of family bonding and lifelong memories.  That beats unwrapping presents any day!
I  believe a Disney family vacation can produce some of the most magical, lasting memories.  Helping other families make memories of their own is my passion!  Reach out when you're ready to give your family the gift of a Disney vacation.  I promise you won't miss the things.
